Founded by self-taught computer programmer Todd M. Gillissie, Gilligames released the musical sim/role-playing game "Shady O'Grady's™ Rising Star" in 2007. The studio went on to publish their first iPhone game, and most successful title to date, "Stranded Without A Phone" on October 19, 2009. Gilligames announced that it will be releasing Rising Star 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2007 game in August 2020.
